ITV REBRAND

BRAND STRATEGY | CREATIVE DIRECTION

ITV’s 2013 rebrand was one of the most ambitious in television history. In a single day, a unified brand was unveiled across all its properties, including ITV plc, its channel network (ITV, ITV2, ITV3, ITV4, CITV), ITV.com, ITV Studios, and ITV Studios Global Entertainment. On ITV’s main channel, the idents introduced a new, dynamic logo that adapted to its environment, generating unique colours for each scene. 

The multi-award winning brand identity transformed ITV’s fortunes, boosting audience share and shifting perceptions. Within a year, ITV’s video-on-demand viewership rose by 13%, ad revenue by 11%.  ITV became the top commercial broadcaster in both brand health and brand love, according to YouGov.
