Netflix was searching for a culturally relevant way to mark the return of their hit original series, Sex Education. Meanwhile, Google was looking for innovative ways to increase brand consideration for Chromebooks among students. Sensing an opportunity, both companies swiped right. It was the start of a beautiful relationship. According to Google, the campaign led to a 4% increase in brand familiarity, a 12% increase in brand consideration, and an 11% boost in Chromebook sales.

Sex Education’s fresh and honest take on teenage life was the ideal way to engage our audience, but it was essential to deliver authentic content that matched the show’s style and tone. Collaborating with creator Laurie Nunn and director Ben Taylor, we developed ‘mini episodes’ that brought technology fails to life within the Sex Education universe.
